Laser units are used for cutting all metals and some non-metallic materials such as ceramic or silicon. They are used in medical technology as well as in precision engineering and in electronic industry. .
With pulsed lasers , materials up to 20 mm thick can be easily cut. The low clearance means that even the finest contours in the tenth of a millimeter range can be precisely cut. Refinishing is no longer necessary.
High-precision beam delivery systems guide the laser beam flexibly over all kinds of part contours. Sensors help to maintain the correct standoff and compensate for any manufacturing tolerances in the drawing process.
